Implied Networks Service Changes
7/28/2026 – Migration Update
We are moving through the migration process to our new provider, ConnectWise. Most of the SentinelOne EDR clients have been moved over. Today we have pushed out the new monitoring agent and remote access clients to all contracted devices. We will be contacting anyone with a MacBook on our systems, to do a manual install of these new agents, at a later time.
Your users will start to see the icons shown below in their task tray, please let them know these are now normal running processes. ScreenConnect is the new remote access software, that can only be accessed by our technicians to assist you.
The Implied Networks Communicator app we will give more details on later. That will be used with our new PSA ticketing system, to allow users to open a support ticket from the app. It also allows us to send notifications to the users if necessary. The ticketing system will be the last part of the migration.
We have decided to leave any server backups on the existing Cove Backup product for now, so those will not be changing at the current time.
We appreciate your cooperation in this migration, hopefully it is as painless as possible for you. Please let us know if you have any questions about this process.
If you have any spare systems on your contract, that have not been on. Please power those on and leave them for a few hours, so they can get the updates. We will be keeping both systems running for a while, until we are sure everything has moved over. Then the old programs will be uninstalled from your systems.

We have recently signed with a new vendor to provide the services that we use with our customers. This includes our system monitoring, cloud server backup, remote access, service ticket PSA system, and SentinelOne EDR protection. Once we have the new systems setup and tested, we will be migrating all of your devices over. We will notify you, before we transfer your devices.
The one thing that will happen sooner, is the SentinelOne devices. This is just changing over to a new instance on our end, so you should see no difference to the end users.
We are doing this to keep our costs down and add some additional tools to our support stack. Which includes more advanced network monitoring, to see deeper into all of the devices on your network. Which will be a big help in troubleshooting any network connectivity issues.
For the end users, it will be an improvement with our patch management, giving the user more options before the system is restarted to complete updates. There is also a support agent, giving users an easy way to open a support ticket and communicate with us. For systems not being monitored, users can still use email and a new support portal. Our support tickets will have a new look, so users should expect to see these changes in any communication from us. We will do another update, when that system goes live.
Please let us know if you have any questions, as we move through this process. We appreciate your patience in working through these system wide changes.
